January 28-29, 2010 the Kyrgyz Academy of Education held the International scientific-practical conference on the theme "State of the quality of education and its prospects" devoted to 80th anniversary of a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor I. B. Bekboev.

Within the Erasmus Mundus program a call for proposals announced under the Action 1 (for the Kyrgyz Universities wishing to join a consortium of European universities to implement the Master's Erasmus Mundus programs (EMMC) and (or) Joint doctoral Erasmus Mundus programs (EMJD), Action 2 (for universities of Kyrgyzstan willing to establish a consortium with European universities on the organization and providing the mobility of students and graduate students (enrolled in bachelors, specialists, masters, postgraduate and Ph.D.) and faculty from September 1, 2010)

Tempus European Union program aims to promote the reform of higher education systems through the funding of joint projects between European universities and universities of the partner countries in the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.
Within the fourth phase of the Tempus IV (2007-2013) announced the next Call for proposals:
The main innovation - an electronic filing.
The final deadline for online applications - March 9, 2010.
