The ceremony of Central Asian Fund Program encouraging Scholarships awarding presentation will be carried out on October 10th, 2006.

Central Asian Fund Of Encouraging Scholarships administrated by Consulting Center of Foreign Education under "Bilim-Central Asia" fund (Kazakhstan), financed by support of USAID and local business companies, by technical support of CARANA Corporation, USA). IN Kyrgyzstan the program administrated by Fund of Educational Initiatives support.

The main project's goal is development and support of business agencies efficient contacts and Higher Educational Institutions in Central Aian region, that will help HEIs to improve the trainings of professional specialists, facilitate job placement for alumnus and be conformed to the modern labor market requirements.

Program is created to support citizens of Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan), who study in HEIs of above listed countries.

Project was conducted basing on students selection (was done by their application forms), who get education in economic, financial or business sphere.  Selection was done by two stages:

By expert committee of professors and committee of donor agencies, who were administrating the program. Competition winners get awarded by financial support for their education and partially by payment for their living expenses.

By the end of the project 33 program finalists were determined in Kyrgyzstan, these were the students of business-economic specializations. They will scholarship for 2006-2007 academic year. Scholarships were provided by Kyrgyz business-companies: Kum Tor Operating Company, Silk Road, Carana corporation and USAID.

We sincerely congratulate all of the finalists and hope, that support, provided by our program, will assist to their career development and will be profitable for Kyrgyzstan in future.

Briefing of program sizing up (15.00) and the ceremony of scholarships' presentation will be conducted on October 10^th in the Fund of Educational Initiatives Support (address: Suvanberdieva 11).

The final selection of Central Asian Fund Program of encouraging scholarships is completed.

The final selective stage of  Encouraging scholarships' program was carried out on September 21^st. The following agencies tool part: Carana Corporation, Kum Tor Operating Company, Fund of Educational Initiatives Support.

The result is: 33 program finalists will get scholarships for 2006-2007 academic year.
