«TeachEx» Academy offers HEIs' instructors the unique opportunity to attend the course of «International Economy» from Prof. George Wright, Washington University, USA. This course lets not only to extend your knowledges of International Economy, but also to improve methods of teaching this course!
Course Outline:Course will acquaint participants with International trade and finance economy. First, it will touch advantages and disadvantages of the trade, especially in the small countries as Kyrgyzstan with low income and different level of resources. Course will consider trade financing methods, foreign money-markets behavior, exchange determination, and balance of payment restriction for small developing countries as Kyrgyzstan. Furthmore, course will consider large financial institutions interaction problems and problems of multilateral custom alliances for developing countries integration. Course will accompany with interactive methods and effective tools for International economy teaching.
Professor:Dr. George Wright is Fulbright program scholar from Washington University, Seattle. He has great experience of International Economy teaching in Turkey and Uzbekistan for more than 30 years. Dr. Wright defended thesis for a Doctor's degree in Iran. He is specialized on "Economic Development", "International Economy". Dr. Wright was working as a Consultant at World Bank and at ABT Associate in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Course will be held on November 06, 2006 - December 11, 2007 from 17:30 p.m. till 19:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.Translation will be provided. You need to fill in Application Form.
Cost:
Participants will have a free access to Internet, computer laboratory, contemporary library and other resources.
During the course participants will be provided with handouts and electronic course versions.
Participants will get Certificates of "TeachEx" Academy, licensed by Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Education in case of successful graduation.
