The second stage of the HEIs' Career Center development training was held on December 15, 2006 at the "EdNet" Academy office. Trainings for Career Centers were organized at the «Education Network» Association within the frameworks of Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA) Career Centers Development project. 

The training was opened with a welcoming speech of Deputy Director EFCA and Acting Director of "EdNet" Association. EFCA prepared a presentation concerning the general events that has been realized in the context of the "Assistance in quality improvement and transparency in Higher Education" program and also about the future plans.

The aim of the round table was to summarize the first training and consulting results; to present Career Centers' work on their mission, strategy, function, goals, structure, and list of services.

Participants from pilot HEIs, for creating and developing of Career Centers, made presentations about their experience in creating mission, strategy, main goals and aims. They discussed achieved goals, made review and analysis of the education results. As the participants said, the main result was the creation and opening of the Career Center in the places where administration and students were interested and expressed desire for being involved into this activity.

A large part of the meeting consisted of handing out the Certificates on Career Centers training completion to the participants.

After receiving the Certificates, all participants were invited to Kyrgyz State Academy of Law to visit Career Sector, where volunteers of already established Career Center were presented. Academy's Rector invited all participants with a welcoming speech. He spoke a bit about Academy's history and nearest prospects. In addition, he noted the necessity of Career Centers and Sectors establishing, the importance of this department in HEI's activity and about the readiness of Academy to cooperate in different areas of the education process.
