We invite you to take part in the International scientific conference “E-Government in the Information Society: Services, Transparency and Democratic Participation”. The conference is to be held on October 23 - 25, 2007 in St.Petersburg State University, St.Petersburg, Russia.
St. Petersburg State University and the International Political Science Association’s (IPSA) (Research Committee RC32 “Public Policy and Administration“) jointly invite the participants to the international session “Internet Impact on Public Policy and Administration” that will be held on the conference “E-Government in Information Society: Services, Transparency and Democratic Participation”.

The general topics for discussion on the session:

• Public space of the Internet and public policy-making
  
• Government portals for the e-services (G2C, G2B, G2G)
  
• Government capacities, public administration reforms and E- Government
  
• E- Government for development

APPLICATION

The deadline for application and abstract of the paper (700 characters) is 10 June 2007.
The deadline for short papers (10 thousand characters with spaces) is 30 June 2007.
Organizing committee plan to publish the paper in conference book before the session.

REGISTRATION FEE
Registration fee is $35 and should be paid during registration on October 23, 2007 in roubles.
Registration fee doesn’t include accommodation and meals.
