January 28-29, 2010 the Kyrgyz Academy of Education held the International scientific-practical conference on the theme "State of the quality of education and its prospects" devoted to 80th anniversary of a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor I. B. Bekboev.

The main purpose of the conference was to summarize and systematize the experience of teachers of educational institutions at all levels of the Kyrgyz Republic. The conference was attended by guests from seven foreign countries, including MPs, representatives of universities and schools of the Kyrgyz Republic, the leading scientists of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Russia, representatives of international organizations.

On the hero of the day honoring Chief of President Staff of the Kyrgyz Republic, Joroev K.T. handed III degree Order of "Manas" to Bekboev I, issued by Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Kurmanbek Bakiev for outstanding service to the state and people of Kyrgyzstan.
